Seniors! For the second time within a week, The River Oaks guys defeated the Northridge Super Team, once again taking all three courts.
Captain Dick, a last minute injury scratch, sweated more watching than he usually does playing.
Frank Mucklo stepped in for Dick and he and
Joe Pare outlasted Don Ritter and Roger Flickinger in 7-6, 6-4 fashion on third court.
Egon(It's all about the Spiderman shoes)
Luengo and
Mack Thomas triumphed 6-1, 6-2 over Curt Chandler and Denny Demarco on first.
It was all about court two for the sweep and
Jay Hansar and
Tim Rickard had it all in the third set breaker for a 5-7, 6-3, 1-0 win.
Tim's consistent serves set up Jay's awesome net play to pull out a 10-7 tiebreak.
The guys are now in sole possession of first place and remain undefeated. Next week, home vs. Cleveland Racquet Club.
