John Wong's 4.0 men's team had the brooms out as they swept Fox Creek on Tuesday evening.
John Hew coasted 0 and 1 at first singles.
Tim Urwin earned a hard fought win at second 6-3, 3-6, 1-0.
At first dubs,
Wong and
D'Avino wore down the opposition in first set tiebreak and sailed to a 7-6, 6-1 win, while at second,
Maurer and
Gao did the opposite, cruising 6-0 in the first set then struggling to a tiebreak win in set number 2.
In a battle of tiebreakers,
John Alfes and
Scott Stewart came out on top 7-6, 6-7 and 1-0.
A great win for the guys who are now
4-2 on the season and will try to keep the brooms out next week when they visit The Tennis Club!
