Only five games?

Gallo's Five Seasons 3.5 team played North Olmsted this week and took all five courts and only allowed the North Olmsted team 5 games for all courts! Is this for real?

What's going on here?

Welcome to the EB Bunny. We all thought that he could only "comment", but now we find that he can post! What's next on this site? Will the Tennis God himself become a poster? And where is Eljefe? Is he wondering in the desert? And where are the Shopgirls, tennisthemenace, and mike? If you're too shy to post, just email the Guru and he will do it for you. FRANK AND LARS WERE MASTERFUL BEATING THE "SUPER GIANT" (7 FT 15 INCH) "ROOKIE" BROUGHT BACK FROM SIBERIA!!! JOE WAS HEARD PRAISING DICK FOR HIS WELL TIMED LINE CALL IN THE THIRD SET TIEBREAKER...WHEN IN DOUBT, ALWAYS USE THE RICK RULE!!!

KEEP IT GOING!!!

DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA....

The Spotlight is shining on Patti and Diane...GORGEOUS, SIMPLY GORGEOUS... Drama, Drama, Drama...what is life without a little of it? The "IT" Girls of Summer defeated North Olmsted 3-2 in a drama filled match Wednesday night. The match was tied at 2-2, with Terri in a match tie break, the fans were on their feet, chanting, "Terri, Terri" to the rhythmic beat of their claps... With the support of teammates and friends Terri made quick work of the tiebreak and cinched the victory for the GIRLS... Which, of course, led to much revelry by The "IT" Girls of Summer... Thanks to all our teammates, families, and friends...your support is amazing and appreciated...We couldn't do it without you. Week 5 Motto: Living on the Edge!!! Next Up: Away vs. Five Seasons... Road Trip...Super Cooler...Ready to go... ...A subliminal thought for The "IT" Girls of Summer... ALOHA!!!

TOP GUNS...

Opening title card: On March 3, 1969 the United States Navy established an elite school for the top one percent of its pilots. Its purpose was to teach the lost art of aerial combat and to insure that the handful of men who graduated were the best fighter pilots in the world. They succeeded. Today, the United States Navy calls it Fighter Weapons School. The players call it: TOP GUN. In case some of you are wondering who the best are...

"How does it feel to be on the front page of every newspaper in the english-speaking world, even though the other side denies the incident? Congratulations!" The "IT" Girls of Summer congratulate John Clark's Team on a "TOP GUN" victory over North Ridge and wish them continued success....

Hell Freezes Over

Cavs beat Pistons, no this is better. One of the players is burning his racquets while Clark's Super Senior team, for the first time ever, beats Hank Thomay's North Ridge team 3-0. The stale pizza even tasted good after this win. Art Stehlik playing with David Hinckley went 7-6 6-4 to defeat Dolcini and Anderson. (and Art thought that Supers was easy?) The well aged duo of Lancaster and Pare pinged their way to a win over Demarco and Chandler in a nail biting match breaker. Eriksson and Mucklo got a late start because of court scheduling and came through in straight sets over Fairchild and Kolke. This is the first time in the history of this Franchise that we were able to accomplish this feat. (check out the "something is rotten.." below to understand why.

Lancaster goes 5-0

The Dick Lancaster 3.5 guys were on the road again last night and rode to another victory at Racquet Club East. At the midpoint of the season, it's 5-0 and first place. Long tall Todd Renzelman made his debut at second singles and cruised 6-0, 6-0 in a default. we wish him many more victories in his new found position. The Rogalski/Pare combo rocked 0 and 1 at third doubles while Thomas and Clark rolled 1 and 2 at second. Chuck Buschert lost a tough one at first singles and Poe and Mucklo were challenged at first doubles and prevailed in a third set breaker, 6-4, 5-7, 1-0. Next week away vs. Western Reserve! Not ReallyTodd, but notice the resemblance!

What does this mean?

Hank's Racquets Plus Equals: ____________________? Inquiring minds want to know. Top people are working on the answer.

Six Seniors Sweep in Straight Sets!

There were many sixes in the scores on 6/6/06 as the Seniors traveled to Mentor and and scored a victory to remain undefeated. Egon & Mack devastated their opponents with wicked serves and groundies to win 6-2, 6-0. Rick & Dick dominated the court to win easily by a count of 6-1, 6-2. After trailing early, Ron & Chuck won ten of the last eleven games to win 6-4, 6-0. The Heisley crew was gracious in defeat, providing mass quantities of food and drink and a great time was had by all! The guys are now 3-0 and will host the usually tough Northridge team next Tuesday at 7pm. Beat those #@*%*#*#!!!!!!!!!!
